BIO & COMMENTS - BEZYL "DOLLARS"
I was born in North Philly (Philadelphia, PA) and moved to the Port City (Wilmington, NC) at a young age; I started rapping at about 10 years old. I earned the respect of the older guys by battling them and holding my own. As I got older, I fail back from the music game and got heavily involved into the streets; by 15 I had been ex-spelled from two schools and by ninth grade decided that school was not for me. Now out of school, I began to take my music more seriously. I moved to New Jersey, started battling local rappers and joined the Ready, Rock and Raw crew; I recorded a couple songs while working with them.
I backed off the music again, but this time to focus on school. Now 18, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and enrolled in Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). While at CPCC I became recognized as an undefeated battle rapper and sold my first single, "Mami Come On (Ooh I Like That)." Working off the campus buzz of "Mami", I then released "1st Down" a Mandown Production album. Later I participated in several mixtape projects: "Independence Day, Volume 1 & II" for Str8Drop Records and hosted by DJ Kayslay; and "R.O.B. (Raised On the Block), Volume I & II which showcases my unmatched lyrics and rhythm patterns
